In the 1970s Tony Wheeler restored and modified this F60S - the chassis started life as a F60L. The front bumper was 6" X 3" channel - an inch wider than the original and the tyres were 12.00 X 20. Tony is seen here ascending a slippery bush track spinning a wheel. This was taken shortly before descending the track and losing the brakes due to a clevis pin put in back to front... we ran off the track, through the scrub and finally hit a tree which bent the bumper and the front shell. |
